We are currently looking for a Market Research Analyst to support our growing client, on a temporary contract, based in Rochester. Work within a dynamic, innovative and fast-paced environment and be a great support to the Marketing function. The role will require completion of research and analysis, as well as reading data, providing insight and visiting stores on a weekly basis to see how products look.

This role would really suit a Marketing graduate who has completed a year in industry.

The functions to this role will involve:
Assist in delivery and implementation of overall sales and marketing strategies
Gathering and researching data for use in specific channel presentations for the grocery, high street and pharmacy sectors
Obtaining retailer specific data and insight required for listings meetings such as sales figures, category size and value, shelf gap analysis and promotion calendars

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Relevant Marketing degree or equivalent
Proven experience of working with data
Good knowledge of Excel
Experience of working within a marketing function
Marketing Insight experience
Strong IT skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work on your own as well as within a team
Have a good work ethic
Be flexible and adaptable to requirements of the role

The hourly rate will be between £9-10.00 per hour, depending on experience.
