Job Title: Global Operations Officer
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £25,000
Hours: Working a rotating 12-hour shift pattern to ensure 24/7/365 operations - 4 shifts on (days or nights) and 4 days off.
Role Summary
You will be responsible for supporting the Global Operations Managers with the management of "live" operations run by the Operations Centre to ensure clients' travel safety, including; travel security alerts, crisis response, journey management, proactive monitoring and maritime monitoring.
Detailed Responsibilities
The role will include the following responsibilities (full training will be given):
* Respond to calls into the Operations Centre from clients, travellers and in-country providers.
* Based on predefined sources, issue global security alerts for the benefit of travelling clients and prepare security advice and assessments for specific destinations during travel.
* Work with Global Operations Managers to plan operations based on specifications received.
* Maintain relationships with our global in-country security provider networks, including supporting the Due Diligence process for new/existing providers and position monitoring during operations.
* Conduct proactive monitoring calls to travellers (under our care).
* Liaise with maritime clients to plan regular drills and testing of ship security systems.
* Maintain relationships with clients and travellers to ensure requirements are met, before and during their travel or an operational task.
* Support the Global Operations Managers during any incidents or crisis response that is not part of a "live" operation, including; managing communications with travellers and clients, intelligence research and tactical analysis and reporting findings, and risk assessments for proposed courses of action.

* Strong team player with the ability to carry additional responsibilities calmly and professionally.
* Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
* Broad geographical knowledge, with an active interest in current affairs
* Additional language skills would be an advantage.
