Deputy Home Manager
We are recruiting a Deputy Home Manager for one of our clients. This opportunity is with a medium sized care provider with a very good reputation and high records of reported satisfaction and retention among its serving staff team. The opportunity is in a fairly large nursing and residential home located in the Exeter area of Devon and is maintained to very high standards with excellent on-site facilities for its residents.
As Deputy Home Manager you will be required to run the residential section of the nursing and residential home. You will be supported by the Registered Manager and work alongside the Deputy Manager for Nursing.
The ideally Deputy Home Manager for this post will have previous experience as a Manager within an elderly care home. This may be as a Deputy Manager or a Team Leader in a large home.You will ideally have a qualification in health and social care. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to motivate and inspire staff and ensure that they are receiving the appropriate level of coaching and development. You will be responsible for running the home in the Registered Manager's absence and need to be both confident and competent at stakeholder engagement with a personable and engaging approach to care home management. A proven track record at managing compliance and ensuring the home meets CQC requirements is also required.
