Quarryfields in situated in the Balby area of Doncaster, and is a 21 bed home for young adults with learning disabilities and mental health difficulties that may have complex behavioural needs.
We have two 8 bedroom bungalows (Sandstone and Quartz), one 4 bedroom house (Moonstone) and a bespoke 1 bedroom house. All our bedrooms are en suite and can be personalised to our Service Users taste. We offer access to spacious landscaped gardens complete with patio areas and provide a horticultural area complete with raised beds and a potting shed. We provide a homely supportive environment where service users rights, privacy, choice, dignity, independence and fulfilment are upheld and respected.

We offer a preceptorship programme which allows you to develop your skills and confidence and apply the knowledge that you have gained from your studies and placements to the working environment.
Until you become fully competent, you will be working supernumerary and will be supervised by your dedicated mentor, who will give you all the tools, support and guidance that you need to reach the required level of competence and complete your preceptorship
Typically, your responsibilities will include:
Assessing care needs
Delivering hands-on nursing care
Developing, implementing and evaluating care programmes
Communicating with service users, relatives, visitors and other professionals
Supervising team members to ensure that the shift runs smoothly and efficiently
Administering, reviewing and monitoring medication
Positive promoting the reputation of the home
Complying with all legal and regulatory policies and procedures
Promoting choice, independence, dignity and respect
Adhering to the NMC Code and updating your professional knowledge
The preceptorship training is in addition to our standard induction programme, which lasts for 7 days, and provides you with all the knowledge that you'll need to understand our ethos and vision, and to deliver the highest quality of nursing care to our service users.
