Randstad Education is working with a school in Lewisham who is looking for an outstanding Science Teacher to join their permanent teaching team from January 2018.

Our client school is an innovative Secondary school in the Lewisham area, where technology and resources is at the forefront of pupils education - students and staff benefit from state of the art facilities as well as using immersive technology, wi-fi internet access and visualizers.

The school is looking to strengthen their Science department with practitioners who can drive through improvements quickly, while tracking progress and identifying those in danger of underachieving.

The successful candidate will need to:

*have a proven track record in Science teaching to KS4, as well as raising achievement and attainment
*display the ability to devise and implement high quality support programmes for those pupils not hitting desired targets
*be able to provide consistently clear improvement points for students, and make sure these are actioned
*ensure those with special educational needs receive work which is matched closely to their ability to allow them to make good progress
