Our Client in Northampton is seeking a UX/ UI Manager to join their organisation on a 12 Month Maternity cover

Key Responsibilities for the UX/ UI Manager:

* To be responsible for the successful delivery of all UX related activities for the Core Systems Programme meeting deadlines specified in the plan.
* To influence the future of the business across multiple platforms, translating the business capability requirements into a product roadmap.
* To work with the Workstream leads and other Stakeholders to understand the business requirements and recommends user best practice and innovative techniques to work with the project teams to build the roadmap of product specifications.
* To have line management responsibilities for 2 Designers and ensure they deliver any associated artefacts and documentation (e.g. wireframes, designs, research etc) on time according to the plan ready for sprint delivery for the development teams.
* To help to establish and execute the Core Systems UX/ UI activities on behalf of the brands which do not have independent capability to do so .

* To provide governance over accessibility, customer journeys and digital branding & style guides where applicable.

Skills and Experience Required from the UX/ UI Manager include :

* A minimum of 2 years experience of working in a UX or Design Management role
* A real passion for user experience and designing / building great products
* Be able to recognise and experience great User Interface when you see it and be able to explain why it is great.
* Be detailed orientated whilst having the ability to think strategically about the bigger picture.
* Clear and articulate language skills and written communication abilities
* Line management and project management experience
* Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence challenging at any level
