Site Manager - Dalry / Dumfries - 6 Weeks - £300 - £375 Per Day - Temporary Contract that may lead to long term position

The client is a well known supplier of gas, water, electricity and telecommunication network design, construction, connection, repair, maintenance and support services.

Role Outline

We are recruiting for the role of Site Manager to support the current management on site and deal with the day to day running and management of subcontractors. The project deliverable will be to complete 800 metre cable lay.

Responsibilities

* Oversee subcontract labour, consisting of one civil team, jointers and scaffold teams involved in the excavation of 1 x Joint bay
* Excavations at remote ends to facilitate cable laying ready scaffolding at H-pole and low level ODSE terminations.
* Report to project manager
* Ensure work is being carried out to Health and Safety standards set by client
* Managing site CDM files
* Making changes to RAMS as and when required to meet programme
* Rates will be based on industry standard and experience of the candidate

Requirements

* Understanding of cable lay projects working with cable up to 132kV
* Experience using RAMS and CDM management systems
* SMSTS
* Strong communication skills
* NE-BOSH construction and industry standard HS qualifications

Rate

£300 - £375 Per Day

6 Weeks contract ( may lead to long term role )
