Legal Cashier required for our client, a Top 10, international Law Firm, on an ongoing temporary basis to assist the team with a high volume of work.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a highly regarded team, whilst the firm is going through positive change and updating their finance systems.

Key skills:

* Previous Legal Cashiering experience, as well as a strong understanding of SRA
* Working knowledge of Elite would be hugely advantageous however those with Aderant (another relevant practice management system) will be considered
* Enthusiastic, works well under pressure, adapts to change and is willing to improve
* Demonstrates an interest and understanding of the area in which they are working, uses initiative and applies sound judgement and identifies opportunities for improvement in working practices

Role will include:

* Recording potential SRA Accounts Rules breaches for review by the Senior Manager and subsequent update of the breaches log.
* Processing CHAPS/BACS receipts and payments to the firms' client accounts including input into online banking systems and posting to Elite.
* Review and checking of the posting batches prepared by other Cashiers team members ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and the firm's AML procedures.
* Assist the Senior Finance Operations Manager with annual SRA Audit process including liaising with auditors and providing information as required.
* Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations for review by the Senior Manager and COFA.
