A global manufacturer of components and assemblies to the aerospace sector has a new vacancy for a Project Manager. With strong project management skills gained within manufacturing you will have successful experience of New Product Introduction.

Salary: £ 38,000 - £ 42,000 p.a. + benefits

The Role

Working for a leading and innovate manufacturer of you will Project Manager both new and existing projects of complex engineered components. You will be responsible for ensuring new projects are brought in on time, on budget and to customer delivery expectations.

You will use your project management skills ensuring successful New Product Introduction by managing multiple departments ensuring targets are achieved.

The role encompasses liaising with Plant, Design, Advanced Engineering and manufacture promoting best practice and appropriate improvement activities.

Working for a global company with multiple UK operations you will predominantly be based at the head office in the East Midlands but will be required to travel occasionally.

The Person

With a mechanical engineering background you will have worked in an aerospace, automotive or general manufacturing environment and have experience of NPI and lean manufacturing techniques. The ideal candidate will have an associated qualification and good understanding of production processes and have future career aspirations as the company continue to grow

Price / Salary: £38000 - £42000/annum
