This manufacturing global organisation are currently seeking a Procurement Co-ordinator who can join the company for a period of 6 months to start ASAP. The company offers career progression, and opportunities to join as a permanent employee.

The role is more of an operational position where you will be placing orders for indirect goods and expediting. Whilst my client is not looking for any procurement qualifications, the ideal candidate will have experience of purchasing a variety of products such as furniture, maintenance services, mobile phones, and company car's.

You will have direct communication with suppliers, monitor stocks and initiate orders within established guidelines. You will also be carrying out basic spend analysis and contract negotiations.

You will be working on SAP (experience not needed, training available) you will have good communication skills, ideally previous procurement experience, and good negotiation skills.

A driving license is required as there will travelling to the Accrington site (company pool cars available) working Monday - Friday.

As this is a 6 month contract candidates must be available to start work immediately.
