£30,000 - £35,000 + Pension

Are you an AutoCAD technician with Inventor experience looking to join a household name who can offer industry leading training & progression to management within the next 3 years?

This is a varied and exciting role where you will provide innovative and practical solutions to the design and development of new, existing and obsolete products currently used in the Rail Industry. You will develop relationships with clients to understand their brief and their needs, and then prepare detailed bespoke designs based on their input. This is the chance to realise the full extent of your potential.

My client is a supply partner to some of the world's best-known companies. They have many different divisions, and main focus of this department is product development for both Railway Infrastructure and Rolling Stock.

This role would suit an AutoCAD Technician looking for a challenging role within an industry leading company who can offer training & progression.

The Role
- Designing new and developing existing products used in the Rail Industry
- Communicating with customers and other departments to create tailored design specifications
- Provide prototypes for the customer approval
- Producing PCB artwork, 3D models, 2D & 3D drawings, technical manuals and instructions (training provided)

The Person
- Experience in an Engineering role with AutoCAD 2d & 3d
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor desirable
- Knowledge of Design Lifecycle
