A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a reputable hire company as a trade counter assistant, working within a team, in one of their busiest depots near Liverpool.

Job Role:

* As the trade counter assistant, you will be arranging the on and off hire of small plant and tool machinery, raising hire contracts and purchase orders.
* You will be responsible for converting all sales leads and enquiries into orders and will follow the whole hiring process through including arranging delivery and collections.
* You will be handling enquiries over the phone, as well as over the counter, providing an excellent customer service at all times.

You will have previous experience working as a hire controller, trade counter assistant, hire negotiator, hire coordinator, hire administrator or internal sales within the plant and tool hire industry. You will have an excellent telephone manner, along with previous experience working within a customer service environment. You must hold a full UK driving license.

You would be working within a North-West regional hire company that supply a range of small plant and tool equipment to the construction and related sectors. Due to expansion, they are seeking a trade counter assistant who will bring enthusiasm and drive to the role, increasing sales growth and relationships with new and existing customers

Price / Salary: £21000 - £25000/annum
