THE ROLE:
Our client is currently looking to employ a full time Principal Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join their established Therapy Team in Blackheath. You'll be experienced and proficient at providing specialised assessments and therapy for inpatients with highly complex mental health needs.
candidate will be overseeing psychology input into three services, Male LSU, Male PICU and Male Locked Rehab and holding a case load on the PICU. Managerial responsibility for two full time psychologists and two full time assistant psychologists. They also have links with several doctoral training programmes and offer forensic trainee placements.
Overseeing the continuing development and delivery of group based interventions in addressing mental health and risk behaviours.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have doctoral level qualifications in clinical or forensic psychology, and registered as a Chartered Psychologist, you may also have post-doctoral training linked to one or more specialised areas of clinical work such as psychosis or personality disorder, and at least 4 years post-qualification experience in mental health and or Forensic/Secure services where you have gained experience working with service users presenting with complex mental health and risk/offence-related issues.
