Due to the nature of our goods, some heavy lifting will be involved , so working within a 2-colleague team is an added bonus. This will allow you share the work-load with a second driver, as well as handling the goods safely and carefully. Working with a second driver will also enable you to load / unload the vehicles correctly (and provide a bit of company too!).

Our ideal colleague will have:

* Good written and verbal English to communicate with customers and paperwork compliance
* Experience of working within a customer service focused environment

* Strong communication skills to work as part of a team

* An understanding that this is multi-drop delivery and collection role

Our ideal Driver will have:

* The ability to handle large items for delivery
* A good driving record with insurers and is courteous to other road users
* A minimum of 1 year driving experience
* A maximum of 6 penalty points

As the face of Dunelm, you will play an integral role in delivering our high-quality products, with exceptional service to thousands of our customers across the UK. Our customers are at the heart of our business, so ensuring they are one hundred percent happy is pivotal to the role.

You will operate between two rotating shift patterns, both Monday - Friday and Tuesday - Saturday with hours starting between 6am 9am, dependent on specific routes. From each Depot, you will work within a designated delivery area, offering a wide variety of routes either in your local community or venturing further afield.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

* Category C1 (7.5t)
* Digital tachograph
* Driver CPC

Price / Salary: £9.75 - £10.25/hour
