AMAZING opportunity to work in an independently run retail travel agency! I am on the lookout for an experienced travel consultant to join a reputable, established independent Travel Agency based in Surrey. Offering a very competitive salary, this independent travel agency is a fantastic opportunity for a Travel Sales Consultant to join their retail shop in West Surrey. This role will suits someone with 4 - 5 years' experience within the travel industry who has excellent customer service and a passion for travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Working in a branch, with a small team of travel consultants
* Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone
* Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
* Selling both package and dynamically packaged holidays
* Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs
* Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance.
* Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Ideally A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in an independent retail travel agency environment
* Passionate about travel and customer service
* Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude
. You must be passionate about working within the travel industry and have the drive to hit set targets!

THE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a fantastic basic salary between £18000 -£23000 DOE + commission and at least 1 FAM trip per year.
