Dove Resourcing are proud to be working alongside a residential child care provider who place positive outcomes for young people. We are currently on the lookout for Team Leaders and Residential Care Workers to joina Deaf service based within the Doncaster area.

The home supports young people between the ages of 11-18 years old who are deaf. You would help support them with key life skills such as, employability, budgeting.

Your aim while working with them within the residential unit is to prepare them towards independence, through developing their social and practical skills. This will enable them to develop their employability skills when they eventually leave the college.

As a Team Leader, you would be expected to:

Responsible for three residential accommodations and the students within.
Responsible for providing a high-quality care and support to the young people within the homes.
Make sure the homes are compliant with Ofsted regulations.
You will be responsible to carry out regular appraisals to the support staff within the homes.
Organise medication administration.
You would support the young people with their personal care needs.
Act as a Duty Manager across days, evenings and weekends.
You will work with your team to set appropriate targets for the young people and to support the team to work towards these.

To be considered for this role you would need to have experience working within either a residential home or school, knowledge on mental health is desirable. NVQ in Children & Young People isnt essential but it would be desirable.

This opportunity is to work on a full time, permanent basis, you would be given an hourly rate between £8.65- £9.60 per hour plus sleep in payments at £20.

You MUST be over the age of 21 and hold a full UK driving licence.
