Key Account Manager: A highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager looking for an exciting challenge within a dynamic, profitable company. To grow revenues from existing UK clients and grow new business opportunities in Europe for the market leading provider of high-quality solutions in tablet POS, mobile POS and security for payment entry devices.
The ideal Key Account Manager will have commercial experience, preferably gained from the mPOS technology and the payments industry, of developing relationships with new regional channel partners to open doors and ultimately to close business, whilst also having an eye for identifying new commercial opportunities. The successful candidate is competitive and assertive with demonstrable experience of nurturing commercial relationships from the ground up with C-Suite individuals and business leaders.
Responsibilities:
* To manage and develop existing Key Account revenues and maintain/grow the company profile.
* Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive sales plan that identifies new target accounts in the European MePOS acquirer space.
* Prospect and directly engage with acquirers to identify short term and long term opportunities. Present solutions to business problems with clear ROI and value propositions.
* Understand competitors positioning and propose ways to displace them.
* Tightly align with OEM and channel sales teams to assist their sales process including joint presentations and pipeline management through to closure.
* Provide weekly sales reporting on all sales opportunities, using SalesForce to track against targets.
* To build out, through business development skills, a pipeline of 5 x revenue target.
* Participate in trade shows/events to support lead generation and business development.
* Nurture and cultivate long-term relationships within nominated accounts.
Skills and Experience:
* 5+ years of relevant sales experience.
* Knowledge of current acquirers and/or payment OEM's (desirable).
* Experience of selling technology-based solutions: hardware, services, and integrated solutions into Retail or hospitality (desirable).
* Sales "Hunter" with the ability to create new sales opportunities
* Knowledge of mPOS technology and payments industry background would be advantageous
* Nurture and cultivate long-term relationships within nominated accounts
* Strong presentation skills and able to articulate clear business benefits, differentiated value propositions and ROI to varied audiences
* Self-starting, strong internal initiative, used to working in a remote / virtual organisation
* Experienced in all aspects of new business sales into account management
* Forecasting, management of assigned resources, time management with prioritisation
