The Shorterm Group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Universal Grinder or Surface/ CNC grinder to join a very successful and ever expanding sub-contract engineering company based on the outskirts of Watford. This is a permanent full time day shift position working Mon-Thurs 7:30am-4:00pm and Fri 7:30-1:00pm.

This role will involve the running of the Jones and Shipman Universal and surface grinders and possibly the CNC grinders in the grinding department.

Your everyday duties will include universal and surface grinding including internal and external grinding, a good understanding of engineering schematics and the ability to grind complex parts to tight tolerances. Experience of 1 offs/ small batch work and previous work in manufacturing environment is a distinct advantage.

The salary on offer is up to 36K p.a and benefits include a 39.5 hour week with the possibility of overtime.

Price / Salary: £35000 - £36000/annum
