Roevin Engineering is delighted to working in partnership with a market leading manufacturing brand to recruit a Shift Engineering Supervisor.

Your main purpose is to support the maintenance delivery teams for execution of all planned and reactive maintenance across the site. Critical to the role is the ability to challenge existing practices and develop strong employee and union engagement.

Main Responsibilities

-To provide inspirational leadership
-Ability to effectively lead and engage teams through change management programmes.
-To manage, develop and lead the site engineering team.
-To develop an efficient & effective Engineering support operation in line with the site plan and key business performance indicators.
-To ensure the site complies with company and legal standards (safety, hygiene, environment, security).
-Delivery of all planned, reactive and statutory maintenance by directly employed and contract labour within SLA requirements.
-Measure and deliver the KPI's to achieve the business plan (financial, quality, customer service).
-Comply with company and legal standards (safety, hygiene and environment)
-Lead improvement activity in team's delivery of quality, value, safety, hygiene, environment & customer service.

Essential

-Engineering qualified to HND level
-Or Knowledge of basic baking techniques and associated plant and machinery
*Exceptional industry engineering experience will be considered in lieu of qualifications
-IT literate
-Good verbal and numerate skills
-Financial acumen
-Excellent communication skills
-Experience of managing change programmes in a supply chain environment
-Action oriented and energetic
-Ability to build effective teams
-Drive for results - can push self and others to deliver outstanding results

Desirable

-Strong experience working in a maintenance environment
-Strong commercial and people focus.
-Strong experience of managing teams
-BRC & third party audit exposure
-IOSH managing safely
-HACCP level 2
