Support Worker required to work on a contract basis for a residential school in Berkshire. Our client supports a range of young people with special educational needs in a residential and school setting. The support worker would need to be a motivated individual with an experience of working with young people with a diversity of educational needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a support worker who is looking for a rewarding position where they can make a difference to a young person's day.

What's on offer?

* £9 - £10 per hour
* Immediate Contract for the next 7 weeks
* Central location, close to the train station
* Monday to Friday, 8-4.30pm
* Temporary to permanent opportunities
* Excellent training and support
* Role / Responsibilities

* Provide group and 121 support for young people in their residential home
* Escort the young people to the school and ensure they are set up for the day
* Support on a 121 basis in lessons when required
* Support with activities at lunchtime and ensure active participation
* Support with any issues that arise during the day
* Liaise with parents where necessary
* Record incidents online

Requirements

* Experience working with young people with a wide range of special educational needs
