Then we have an amazing opportunity for you to work with a utility company in Edinburgh as a Customer Service Advisor!

You will be the first point of contact for venerable customers under the government scheme to provide exceptional customer service to resolve any customer queries. We are looking for people who can take ownership of a call and see the query through to completion. You will receive extensive training on the company's processes, procedures and guidelines according to best practice and you will also receive Samaritan training to understand how to support venerable adults.

Responsibilities & Duties

* Taking inbound calls from customers, answering all queries and finding a satisfactory resolution at first point of contact.
* Having the ability to stay calm under pressure and reassuring any distressed callers.
* Proactively identify and help any customers who are suffering delays or experiencing issues in progressing through the customer journey.
* Keep updated on any changes to basic knowledge of energy efficiency measures available on the scheme.
* Liaising with subcontractor teams to ensure that there is a smooth customer journey when there are issues impacting installations.
* Handle any customer complaints to a successful resolution that the customer is satisfied with.
* Basic computer and administration skills to complete tasks.

* Good administrative skills and basic understanding of Microsoft packages.
* Being able to identify the needs of vulnerable adults.

This role is a permanent position of 37 hours per week Monday - Friday on a salary of £18,103 - £19,976 depending on experience.
