Commercial Insurance Schemes Assistant Underwriter to £25,000 + benefits
Croydon, Surrey
Well established group continuing with their on-going expansion plans.
Presenting a new opportunity for an enthusiastic person seeking the next step in their insurance career. They provide an excellent platform for on-going training, and the role will involve all aspects of underwriting support for renewals, new business/new schemes, reviews, adjustments etc. Taking responsibilities for own allocated caseload. There will also be opportunities to support project work.
Applicants should be able to offer 2 years + current/recent Commercial Insurance Broking or Underwriting experience (Insurer, Broker or MGA background), with a good grounding in the major classes of business - Property, Liability, Business Interruption etc.
Strong communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
Progress with Cert CII is an advantage/willingness to commence study.
Monday to Friday working 9 am to 5.30 pm; competitive staff benefits
