An Independent Family Assessment Agency requires a Social Worker for their Family Assessment service in Kent. As a Social Worker, you will be working closely alongside Families to help and assess vulnerable parents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* As the Social Worker, you will be undertaking Parenting Assessments
* To make sure that the service meets all the aims, objectives and quality standards
* Working with and building relationships with placing authorities
* As the Social Worker, you will be meeting the unique needs of the families
* Attend Court as well as attend meetings

Requirements:

* A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
* A valid HCPC registration
* Significant experience of working as a Qualified Social Worker within Children and Families teams
* Significant experience within Child Protection
* An excellent knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care, Fostering and Adoption
* As a Social Worker, you must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle to travel to other areas
