NET Software Manager x 4 TDD, C#, WPF, WCF - Manchester - Circa £50-60K

Our client based in Manchester is currently looking for a number of .NET Software Managers.

This is a huge opportunity to join an ambitious team of technical professional in a fun and collaborative environment set on delivering technical innovation.

You will be managing a team who are responsible for the integration with their clients and developing auto decision technology, to ensure they match their customers. The team currently includes 4 developers; the Software Manager will have the freedom with the guidance of their CTO to enable key technical decisions. Working with the product owner, challenging and ensuring that the right decisions are made. Developing the team through coaching, mentoring, managing performance and code reviews to develop an engaged and highly performing team. Driving quality practices through paired programming, TDD and fostering a culture of open discussion, debate and questioning is there a better way.. Working alongside other Software Managers to conduct cross functional code reviews.

In this role you will be responsible for the investment into core intellectual property that will help grow and set the value for the business. You will be part of building something special in a market place that prime for distribution and innovation.

Role Responsibilities:
* Developing a team of highly skilled and technical awesome Engineers
* Making technical decisions for the team.
* Working with other Software Managers to conduct cross functional code reviews, share learnings and lessons learnt
* Working with and challenging product owners to ensure we deliver the right things
* Take ownership of security decisions for the team
* Working with C#.NET, MSSQL, Azure and Git - Specific technologies could include MVC, Rest, WCF, WPF and NUnit.
* Developing a high performance, quality, maintainable, and robust code utilising agile, testing, design and deployment best practices
* Interact with other departments and customers to understand the needs as users and work to resolve issues that they may have.

Desired Skills and Experience
* Skilled in developing highly skilled collaborative software engineers
* Confident decision maker
* Strong demonstrable knowledge of C# .Net with experience of developing software using Object Oriented principles and Service-Oriented Architecture design patterns
* Experience with Azure
* Knowledge of agile practices, ideally Scrum and passionate about TDD
* Solid analytical skills for developing suitable solutions.
* Continuous Integration.
* Experience with internet or fat client technologies
* Design best practice;
* Skilled in data analytics, machine learning and auto decision engines are highly desirable as although interest in this
