We are currently recruiting for an experience Production Support to work for a busy and fast growing manufacturing company in the Wolverhampton area.
Reporting into the Shift Manager you will work as part of a small team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.
Production Support is responsible for the production process and schedule, overseeing quality control and people management of the team to ensure that products are produced on time to meet customer demands.
Saslary £ 8.46 per hour (£18,476 per annum for 42 hour week)

Duties:

* Overall responsibility for production under shift managers supervision* Ensure all timely production schedules are met
* Liaise with HR to resource shift and correct labour levels
* Assist with productivity, stock control, planning, health and safety and delivering against targets
* Contribute to safe operating procedures
* Drive quality standards and continuous improvements
* Team & staff development
* Organise and coordinate team meetings
* Carry out staff reviews working closely with HR
* Day to day queries - production related
* All other relevant duties on an ad hoc basis

Objectives & targets:

* Ensure all products are are packed to high specification
* Ensure all company KPIs are achieved
* Ensure correct PPE and H&S is adhered to at all times

The successful candidate will need:

* Previous supervisory experience
* FLT License
* Knowledge of health & Safety legislation

You will work on a continental shift pattern 4 days on & 4 days off (2 day & 2 night shifts) - flexibility is required around this in line with business demands therefore overtime may be necessary.
