My client is seeking a scientist to assist in their antibody discovery department, developing their antibody drug discovery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Bioassay conception, development, qualification and execution.
Support with antibody drug candidates and reagent generation.
Provision of solutions to enable selection and characterisation of lead molecules.

Experience:

PhD qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant life-science.

Knowledge and deep experience of state of the art biochemical and biological assay development and assay qualification, ideally in a drug discovery setting

The ability to develop and implement new methods based on the understanding of biology and assay technology.

Thorough understanding of the generic drug discovery process

Preferred:

Haematology experience, particularly non-malignant blood disorders
