Are you an experienced Buyer looking for a new challenge with a proactive and successful engineering company? If so, please read on as this opportunity may be of interest to you................

My client is looking to strengthen their team with someone experienced in supply chain who can demonstrate experience in the following areas;

Sourcing products and materials
Sourcing, monitoring and managing suppliers
Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
Liaise with production to ensure availability of raw materials to suit production needs
Work with quality to resolve quality issues and identify corrective actions
Production scheduling
Develop cost saving and continuous improvement strategies

With broad purchasing experience, you will ideally be a strong problem solver who has worked within engineering or manufacturing environments and understand the challenges of sourcing technical materials and component. Highly organised with good IT and MRP skills, you will be used to multitasking and working under pressure.
