Are you a Teacher looking to work in special needs teaching or behaviour environments?

We are working alongside an SEN Specialist Secondary School teaching ages 11-19 in Salford.

The school is looking for Teachers that have previously worked with students with moderate learning difficulties to teach core subjects. The school has been rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and prides itself on encouraging students to do their best.

Subjects required:
* Maths
* English
* Sciences
* Life skills

Qualifications Needed:
* QTS
* Experience working with people with ASD and MLD.
* Team Teach (not essential)
* Autism Awareness

The Teaching Role includes:

* Supporting students during learning activities
* The role requires you to work with your class on various core subjects supporting groups and individuals with their learning
* You will also need to be able to deal with situations relating to behavioural and learning difficulties.
* Establish and maintain relationships with students.
It is important within the role to be able to build bonds and relationships with students who you are working with, gaining their trust and confidence. Being able to form and maintain these relationships is a vital attribute of the role in order to support their learning.
* Provide care and support for students.

As well as the students learning it is important to support a student's social development during their time at Secondary School developing their self esteem, and being able to adjust to new settings whilst at school.
