QC Technician

Our West Midlands based chemical client is actively looking to recruit for a Quality Control Technician.

Duties for this position will include:-

Testing of incoming materials to ensure specification
In process testing to ensure product streams are within specification
Final sign off of material prior to release of goods to the customer
Entry of results
Identify quality issues and take corrective action
Assisting with the calibration of laboratory equipment

Applications are invited from candidates with A-levels in Chemistry or relevant scientific subjects, together with previous suitable skills and experience gained within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

A high level of accuracy with an excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Good time management
Computer literate

Role: Permanent
Salary: Up to £22,500 (depending on skills and experience)
Location: West Midlands (commutable from Midlands and NW)

Benefits: depending on skills and experience

Price / Salary: £20000 - £22500/annum depending on skills and experience
