A permanent position has become available for a Site Manager with a Regional Main Contractor to work on Building projects across Yorkshire.
Company:
Well established regional Main Contractor with a £60m turnover operating within the Building sector on New Build and Refurbishment projects across Yorkshire.
Job:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a construction site, reporting to a Contracts Manager.
Remuneration:
Competitive basic salary between £45,000 and £55,000, plus Car / Car allowance.
Matched contribution pension scheme.
Experience Required:
* Significant experience of managing Design & Build projects for a Main Contractor of small to medium value.
* New Build experience.
* You will be commercially aware with excellent organisational skills.
* You must have good IT Skills.
* You must hold a Driving Licence.
* CSCS Card at Site Manager level
* Valid SMSTS certificate
* Valid First Aid at Work certificate
Key Accountabilities:
* Coordinating and overseeing activity, delivering projects on time, to budget and keeping to high levels of quality.
* Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management.
* Manage and develop supply chain relationships.
* Be able to read and understand programmes, drawings and technical specifications.
* Monitor Site teams performance against contract targets and instigating corrective actions.
