Job Profile for Transport Planner - JC87892

Transport Planner required. My client is a well-established distributor and due to the on-going success and growth of the business, my client is looking for a self-motivated Transport Planner to join the team in Stockton-On-Tees.

The role will involve regular contact with drivers and customers, resolving issues relating to delivery to sites. The role would suit a hardworking, well-organised transport planner with strong customer service skills.

Transport Planner Position Overview

* Dealing directly with customer / driver issues
* Managing driver schedules, assisting them with directions / planning
* Client liaison - dealing with Ground Workers through to Directors
* Allocating jobs to drivers
* Fast paced, strong customer service skills required

Transport Planner Position Requirement

* Proven experience of working within a transport planning/coordinating role
* Good Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
* Thrive in a fast paced environment, dealing with driver / customer complaints
* Based within the commutable distance of Newton-Le-Willows.
* Full UK Driving License

Transport Planner Position Remuneration

* Salary £20,000 - £25,000 (Dependant on Experience)
* Monday to Friday - 11:00am - 20:00
* 30 days' holiday, including bank holidays
* Pension
* Parking on site
