Principal Planning Policy Officer

Carrington West's dedicated Town and Country Planning recruitment team operate UK wide and we are delighted to be assisting our Local Authority client with their search for a Principal Planning Policy Officer to be based in London on a 6 month contract that is likely to extend.

We are looking for an experienced Planner with a strong knowledge of planning policy who ideally comes from a Local Authority background. The ideal candidate will be working towards tight deadlines with minimal supervision and will have the ability to prioritise daily work loads. You will be focussed on developing the broad content of policies working toward the Local Plan.

You will be an experienced and motivated Planner who holds a degree in Town and Country Planning (or eqiv) and have MRTPI status or be working towards it. You will also have a very strong knowledge of planning legislation and process and have excellent communication skills.

Rate £27 to £35 p/h

Price / Salary: £27.00 - £35.00/hour
