Events Manager (Fixed Term contract until August 2018)

Salary circa £23,000k per annum

The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Event Manager to join our busy, forward thinking team on a fixed term contract basis up to August 2018. With client satisfaction being paramount, we are seeking an individual with exceptional attention to detail to ensure every event exceeds expectations. You will take ownership of events once contracted by our sales team, meet with clients to discuss their event requirements, upsell additional centre services and liaise with our internal operational teams to ensure they are fully involved in understanding and delivering the clients brief.

The Candidate

We are looking for a confident, passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our professional team with experience of planning and managing large scale events preferably within a large hotel or conference centre. You will have a proven track record in developing and maintaining business relationships to ensure our venue is the venue of choice. With strong communication, excellent administration, organisation and time management abilities you will possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including word, excel and diary management systems.

Experience of using Visio would be useful although not essential as training will be provided.

Due to the nature of the industry you should have a flexible approach to work as the role does involve a variety of shifts including evening and weekend working.
