ARC Education are currently working an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in Leicestershire, in order to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Food Technology teacher for the Spring Term and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and ambitious secondary school, where senior leadership take great measures to ensure that staff and students are happy and fulfilled.
The school, based in south Leicestershire, currently caters to students aged 11-16 with an approx NOR of 900. The school prides itself on having built excellent links with local organisations to provide positive outcomes for their students, and teachers and support staff are able to benefit from excellent professional development and industry leading levels of training and support. Behaviour across the school is excellent, and all teaching staff are able to benefit from the close relationships with parents and senior leaders.
The ideal candidate will be a Food Technology specialist teacher, holding either QTS or QTLS, with a strong track record of delivering either Good or Outstanding teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. Although experience is highly desirable, they are happy to consider applications from NQT's, and have a strong track record of developing staff to ensure that your career gets off to to a brilliant start. Although initially a temporary post until Easter, there is a high likelihood of a permanent role being offered to the right candidate.
