Adept Resourcing Engineering and Technical Division are working with our established Manufacturing client to recruit a Customer Service Centre Representative to join their team.

The Job:

To act as the single point of contact for internal and external customers including via the phone, email and fax.
Responsible for providing an excellent level of service to customers/prospects in respect of enquiry handling, sales order processing and the overall customer experience.
Deal with customer queries, either written, via the telephone or via email throughout the entire customer journey
Liaise with customers regarding orders, dealing with delivery enquiries and providing information to proactive support customers and meet their needs
Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls for processing orders onto the in-house system, with a particular focus on project based business
Deal with any complaints including project tracking, liaising with production and informing customers when to expect their delivery
Provide the highest levels of customer service
Receipt and input complaints
Check and process customer orders using SAP and ERP systems
Work with team members to adhere to deadlines, demonstrating flexibility where required to meet business needs
Maintain good working relations
Adhere to quality standards and procedures at all times, promptly reporting any issues to Team Leader/Line Manager

The Candidate:

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
Customer services background and experience essential
Computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft packages
Excellent communication skills, relationship building and customer facing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop strong, professional relationships with colleagues and customers
Adept at dealing with difficult situations
Passion for providing first class customer service

Remuneration:

£18,000 - £21,000 per year
