We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance/Warehouse Operative to join our Client immediately on a permanent basis in Shepshed.

The vacancy is for a full time maintenance person with additional responsibilities including warehouse work as and when required.

The role will include the below tasks and attributes and must be competent in completing these to a high and professional standard;
Strong knowledge of a range of general maintenance duties
Able to work safely at height, inspecting and clearing roofing & guttering
Working knowledge of H&S procedures and the competency to work safely within the Company guidelines at all times
Proactively identifies areas of the building that require maintenance and improvements
Responsible for the ordering/replenishment of necessary supplies for the business including stationary and sanitation products
Able to use a computer to provide monthly reports including meter readings, accident reports, company vehicle mileage logs and weekly, monthly and annual maintenance tasks
In addition to maintenance tasks, a number of warehouse duties will also be expected including the unloading and loading of vehicles, picking, packing and processing deliveries

Person specification;
Previous maintenance experience is essential with the knowledge to recommend improvements as well as general upkeep of the building
Comfortable within an industrial environment and be confident in recommending changes where necessary
Excellent attention to detail
Physically able as you will be required to handle boxes weighing up to 25kg
Full UK driving licence

Job details;
Permanent
Monday Friday 8.15am 4.45pm
£19,000 - £20,000 per annum
20 days holiday, increasing to 21 days after 1 year service
Christmas shutdown
