This unique vacancy is to start in January 2018 on a long term basis within a girls faith school in Preston. The working hours will be Monday to Thursday full days. As an Intervention Teacher you will be required to deliver English, Maths and Science lessons to small groups of students that are underachieving or struggling to engage. To be successful you will need to show that you can use initiative with a flexible approach and make activities interesting.
This faith school in Preston caters for around 400 female students aged 11 to 16. They aim to help students develop in all aspects of life; religious, personal and academic. This is done through an emphasis on Muslim studies, alongside providing qualifications and life skills to prepare pupils for the future and ensuring they are valued members of the community. The staff team at this developing school are supportive, making this the perfect opportunity for a teacher/tutor looking for a new challenge.

To join the QT team and be successful in this Intervention Teacher role you will need to have:
* Experience tutoring or teaching Secondary students of mixed abilities
* Excellent subject knowledge across a range of core subjects
* Experience in Intervention / SENDCo roles
* A flexible and patient approach
* QTS, QTLS or similar teaching qualification
