£320 per week.

Full time and permanent.

***MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT DUE TO RURAL LOCATION***

We are looking to recruit several food production operatives join our busy food manufacturing factory based on the outskirts of York. The company has undergone a lot of investment in new products and machinery and has a large order book for 2018.

The role is working full time Monday to Friday, 40 + hours per week. There are two shifts you would have to work, either a 6am to 2pm shift or a 2pm to 10pm shift. You must be able to do both shifts

We are looking for applicants who have experience in food handling and processing. Superior standards of personal hygiene is a must, you must be well presented and you must have you own transport (CAR OR MOTORBIKE NEEDED) as there is no public transport.

This is a 12 week temporary contract after which you will be offered a full time and permanent role.

The role will involve the following duties:

* checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items
* keeping machines supplied with packaging materials and labels
* reporting machine faults to shift supervisors and maintenance staff
* making minor adjustments to machine settings to handle changes from one type of product or container to another.
