Our automotive client is seeking an analyst who can review automotive components being supplied to ensure that they are getting the best value for money. This role is offered on an ongoing contract basis with lots of opportunity for contract extension and longer term career development.

Position Description:

* The role involves working as part of a small team that review and benchmark all outsource component Design and Development activity to ensure Value for Money.
* Conduct complete analysis - in line with departmental processes - of component D&D activities
* Lead / support engineering discussions on component D&D requirements with internal Engineers
* Lead / support cost discussions with Tier 1 client component suppliers
* Deliver all required administration, task management and planning.
* You may be required to travel within and outside of the UK

Skills Required:

* Good communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, self-motivated and possess a passion for the industry and the role Cost analysis/management experience
* An intermediate knowledge level in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Experience Required:

* Experience of working with/for automotive suppliers
* Previous experience of working in a team environment yet able to deliver excellent results with complete autonomy.
* Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
* Good presentation skills
* Good organisational & prioritisation skills

Experience Preferred:

* Excellent negotiation skills
* Good analytic / numerical skills
* A team player, totally flexible, committed and motivated to deliver in all circumstances especially within a small team environment.

* Must have a valid driving licence

Price / Salary: £22.10/hour
