Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant that loves providing support to the pupils and teacher in your class?
If so, we would love to hear from you!

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a dedicated TA to join a lovely Primary School in the Halifax area on a permanent basis from as soon as possible. The school pride themself in been a supportive team of employees, who really enjoying pushing their staff to further their careers and learn new skills constantly. This role will be pivotal to the learning and development of the pupils in the school, particularly Reception and Key Stage 1, where you will be tasked with many activities to further help the learning of the children by doing the following:

* Work with higher and lower ability learning groups to assist with basic learning skills
* Produce exciting and engaging work displays throughout the classroom
* Interact with the children on different activities
* Set up resources and activities
* Talk through planning with the teacher to have a clear understanding of expectations
* Provide some 1:1 support with pupils that may need extra help
* Share ideas, thoughts and opinions with the class teachers in regards to lessons and activities
* General administrative tasks and duties to help free up the teachers time
* Communicate effectively with parents to build relationships and report on childrens progress
* Monitor and assess learning path to ensure pupils are on target

Although the school are open to seeing individuals at all levels in their education career, the skills and experiences that would be a huge advantage to this role are:

* At least 1 year of experience in a primary school
* NVQ Level 2 in a child care qualification or studying towards
* Can build relationships with pupils and parents
* Has a supportive and nurturing nature
* Seeks positive results and progress with each pupil
* Can tailor learning techniques to different needs
* Reliable and dedicated to the progress of the children
