Our client an Automotive Fleet Repair Company established throughout the UK is currently looking to hire a fully qualified and experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to cover the Kent region for them.

JOB SPECIFICATION:
As a Mobile Vehicle Repair Technician / Mechanic you will be operating throughout the Kent region from a company van and your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, service, and repair on a variety of our client's customer's vehicles as instructed to the standards laid down by our client whilst delivering a high level of customer service. You will be working at our client's customer's premises and occasionally roadside and you need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to our client as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician / Mechanic you will need to ensure that quality and health & safety procedures relating to the function laid down by our client are adhered to at all times.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION:
You will need to be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum and ideally come from a roadside/mobile repair background however this is non-essential. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, have your own tools/equipment, have experience working on a multitude of different vehicles, and be a committed individual. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a multitude of different working environments as well as being self-motivated to work towards targets set for you and you will be mainly working on your own. You will need to be customer service orientated, capable of developing rapport with our client's customers, and be trustworthy and honest in your approach to work given you will be responsible for a large amount of expensive work supplies.

PACKAGE DETAILS:
For your hard work our client is offering
* Starting salary circa £10.80 per hour depending on experience and current earnings.
* Overtime subject to availability paid at an enhanced rate of £14 per hour.
* Company van and fuel allowance.
* Workplace pension scheme.
* Full in-house training provided.
* 20 days annual holiday allowance plus the bank holidays,

You are required to work a minimum of 45 hours per week Monday to Friday (normally 8:00am-5:30pm) with 1 in 2/3 Saturdays 7:30am-11/12:00am and paid at the overtime rate mentioned above. Due to the nature of this role you will need to have a flexible approach to working additional hours subject to business demand however any extra hours will also be paid as overtime.
