Temps Recruitment are currently recruiting for Polishers and Linishers to join one of our successful clients in Walsall the Bloxwich area.

The role will include but is not limited to:

-Operate all finishing equipment including polisher, grinders, sanders, files, or sands surfaces of metal items using hand or power tools
-Examine surface of metal to detect defects, such as dents, scratches, or breaks in metal
-Smooth surface of item to specified finish, using handtools and powered tools
-May polish metal surface, using powered polishing wheel or belt
-Run press and grinder
-Read routers and drawings to check product to order
-Perform minimum maintenance requirements to equipment, oil levels, clean ups, etc.
-Read and interpret work orders, templates and blueprints.
-Sort parts, scrap metal, and other materials
-Responsible for complying with all applicable specification requirements
-Assist in keeping the Machine Shop area clean and orderly at all times
-Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor

Temporary to Permanent role, £7.50 p/h with piece work available. £2 per piece complete, targets of 20-25 per day.

Must have experience in a similar role, Medium to High level of skill needed.

Monday to Saturday shifts:
7:30am to 5:30am Monday - Friday
7:30am to 1:30pm Saturday

Shifts may slightly vary to suit client.
