Our client tests and designs systems for the marine and defence sectors, they are looking for a junior naval architect to join their team in Hampshire. This role will involve work on a variety of small scale projects from modelling and experiments to concept reviews and ships stability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Completing a variety of project work
* Hydrodynamic solutions for clients
* Mathematical and model testing
* Results reporting
* Concept/feasibility/detailed design
* Build oversight
* Trialling

Experience and Requirements:

Essential:
* BEng / MEng Naval Architecture, Ship Science or Marine Engineering
* Has completed graduate scheme or 2 years working experience

Desirable:
* Small shipyards/small craft
* Defence

Skills & Requirements:
* Flexibility
* Excellent verbal & written communication
* Excellent team working skills
* Role requires travel
* Suitability to gain UK Security Clearance

* £30,000 to £32,000
