Role: Junior / Intermediate Senior / Principal - Flood Risk & Drainage Engineer
Location: Glasgow or Leeds
Salary £25-45,000 + package based on experience

My client is a market leading consultancy who are attached to private and public sectors projects, as well as AMP6 water frameworks.

My client are looking for engineers of all levels to join their expanding team to due to continues success, project wins and successful tenders.

The team is based in Glasgow but engineers can also be accommodated from Leeds.

In this role you will be attached to a number for flood alleviation projects where you will be involved in the below tasks:

Optioneering engineering solution
Outline and details design of solution as well as calculations and specification
Providing technical expertise and technical delivery of projects
Asset management plans
Project management & Project delivery
Client interaction
Hydraulic analysis of river assets eg weirs - discharge capacity

You can be attached to a variety of projects based on your experience which can vary from flood alleviation schemes which includes drainage systems, SUDS, pumping stations and culverts. This will naturally cross over with other departments within the business such as hydraulic modelling, survey department, environmental team and similar departments within the infrastructure division.

Candidates will need to come from a civil degree qualified background with experience of UK based hydraulic, structural or civil engineering.

Ideally candidates will have worked on flood alleviation project attached to either the river or coastal sectors via the environment agency.

On offer is a full time permanent role which pays £25-45,000 based in experience +package
