IT Support Analyst - Windows - Perm - Borders

Abrecco have been appointed to recruit an IT Support Analyst on behalf of one of our major clients. This is an exciting role within a successful, expanding company based in the Scottish Borders within commuting distance of Edinburgh. As IT Support Analyst your role will be to provide effective helpdesk and service desk support. With proven general IT skills, you will also have strong team working abilities coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and be proactive in your approach to support.

Role responsibilities:

- Resolve helpdesk/servicedesk calls in a timely and effective manner
- Take ownership from initial request through to resolution
- Provide occasional out of hours cover
- Carry out other ad hoc duties as required

Personal and technical attributes:

- Previous experience of helpdesk/servicedesk support
- Good existing knowledge of Active Directory / MS Exchange
- Strong understanding of Windows O/S (7&10)
- Good track record of Network trouble shooting
