A specialist SEN school in Sutton (South London) that is a specialist SEN provision for children with Autism (ASD) and severe learning difficulties (SLD) in the KS3-KS4 age bracket is seeking to appoint a teacher as soon as possible on a full time basis. This job has arisen as an NQT appointed for September has had to quit the school at short notice due to her sole parent falling terminally ill. The school is focused on children with severe ASD and SLD and as such the curriculum is based largely on the EYFS P Levels and lower KS1.

The Headteacher is seeking to appoint a new and forward thinking Autism Specialist Teacher. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and committed Teacher with good recent ASD teaching experience. The school is a supportive environment where there is a real emphasis on the development of all pupils and teaching staff.

To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a desire for improving pupil outcomes, as well as some ASD knowledge (through experience and/or practice). The right candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning and the skills to engage, inspire and motivate students

Price / Salary: £160 - £195/day
