Senior support worker required for a leading provider of learning disabilities care and support, based within one of their Wolverhampton based services. Your role as senior support worker will require you to take the lead on activity planning and implementation, as well as being involved in leading a team and delivering personal care and support.
You will join a care focussed team within a medium sized, person centred service that currently holds a "GOOD" CQC rating. This service has an established and settled staff team who really do pride themselves on promoting dignity, independence and choice for the people they support.
Employed on a full time basis, you will be responsible for leading the shift, delivering personal care and support and promoting choice and independence. You will work closely within CQC and company guidelines, and ensure the people you support lead a full, varied and independent life.
As with all care roles, you will need to be flexible to cover a varied shift pattern which will also include weekend working on a rota basis.

Qualified to QCF level 3 in health and social care, or equivalent, you will be able to demonstrate a significant background within the learning disabilities sector and be looking to take on a senior support worker role. You will hold a Full UK driving licence and be competent in the delivery of personal care and support.
Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern, including earlies, lates, evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
