The Role:

Contract Associates (Capita) has a new job opportunity for a Team Manager to lead approximately 12 Disability Needs Assessors across the country, you will report directly to the Head of Service Delivery and you will be responsible for pro-actively supporting the successful achievement of the forecasted annual business plan. You will drive the operations and ensure the delivery of our key performance indicators which will allow Contact Associates to meet its business objectives.

Your role will involve travelling across the country to meet up with team members, key offices and clients. It would be considered a bonus if you have had experience within our sector but an interest in what we do and prior experience delivering on operational business goals is more essential.

Your key priority will be to become a hub for your team and senior managers with the mission to understand how we do things now, improve the efficiency of the team as a whole and to run the future development of our Disability Needs Assessor business.

Key Accountabilities:

Manage the performance and productivity of a team of Disability Needs Assessors to achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators through effective leadership, coaching mentoring and development activity.

* Provide support to the Disability Assessors to enable positive development processes utilising internal and external tools.
* Be proactively responsible for staff motivation and develop and maintain a team ethos as well as minimising staff absence and attrition;
* Responsible for driving the Quality Assurance initiative and minimising queries.
* Be available as a decision-maker in the escalation process;
* Host and attend CPD sessions to support business requirements and organisational priorities;
* As directed by the Head of Service Delivery, complete any other duties that may be deemed necessary by the business to ensure successful delivery of the service.

Key Skills and Experience:

* Demonstrable planning, leadership and organisational skills;
* Experience of managing teams in front line customer service or clinical environments;
* Ability to work in a high pressured environment, managing detailed operational deliverables, meeting targets and business plans;
* Able to develop and deliver presentations to direct reports and stakeholders
