We are looking for a determined and focused Production Supervisor to lead and drive performance at an established Tier 1 Automotive Supplier at their site based in the Coventry area.

The Role

*

Report Directly to the Production manager
*

Full autonomy managing and leadership a team of production operatives
*

Responsibility for your team performing to Company KPI's, achieving productivity targets and ensuring faultless Health and Safety Standards all whilst ensuring production is done at its minimum cost
*

Implement and lead continuous improvement activities across the shift

The Person

Anyone not yet working at Team Leader Level will not be considered.

*

At least 2 years experience motivating and engaging a team in a fast moving automotive industry to perform at top capacity and create a pulsating team atmosphere is desired
*

Previous experience using lean, streamlined manufacturing methods is crucial
*

Able to work independently using inventiveness and initiative
*

Be flexible in your approach to work and committed to working shift patterns
*

Experience of welding would be ideal
