**We are** looking to recruit a personal assistant to support a lady living in her own home in Norwich. Our client has cerebral palsy and is profoundly deaf and unable to speak.

**The role includes** supporting her with her daily routine including personal care, administering medication, meal preparation and accompanying her on outings and to appointments. Applicants must be able to undertake moving and handling. Any successful candidate should be able to work in a small team, and in an informal friendly setting.

**We are looking for** people with good communication skills. An understanding of sign language would be an advantage. Applicants must have previous experience of working in the care industry. Successful candidates will be required to undertake training and regular supervisions.

**Hours of work: 28 hours per week based on a 3 week rolling rota**

**Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday 8am to 3pm**

**Week 2: Wednesday & Friday 3pm to 10pm and Monday & Thursday 8am to 3pm**

**Week 3: Thursday 8am to 3pm & Friday, Saturday & Sunday 3pm to 10pm**

**Rate of Pay: £9.00 per hour daytime and £10.00 per hour at night.**
